Dorset Cereals | 2011 Resolution Gift Guide

Eating healthy is important to me. It is something that I wish to maintain through out 2011.

To make our recipes, we take natural ingredients and carefully blend them together. We visit our suppliers to make sure we are using the best possible ingredients. The result is a really tasty breakfast that’s a good source of fibre and contains wholegrains. Simple, but then the best things in life usually are.

I love muesli. It's a great way to fuel your body in the morning. Dorset Cereals have actual ingredients in them: oats, fruit, nuts and seeds. I knew what everything was that I read and that goes a long way in my house. I never even realized that Dorset was easy to obtain here in Canada until I started reviewing them. I saw Dorset in Safeway, Sobeys and No Frills (I think). So even after I am finished with my review I know I can continue enjoying Dorset Cereals.

My favorite Dorset recipe is the Super High Fibre Muesli. It's high in fibre with no added sugar and is Vegetarian Society Association approved, not to mention it is suitable for vegans as well. What I think makes Super High Fibre the best is the coconut flakes. It adds that extra flavor that really makes it enjoyable for me. Super Cranberry, Cherry & Almond is also delicious. I love the tang that that cranberries bring to your bowl of cereal. (I add muesli to my bowl, to add some extra fibre.)
