Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Protein Shake

Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Shake - this healthy smoothie recipes helps you conquer your sweet tooth cravings but keeps you on track. So yummy! |thebewitchinkitchen.com

I don’t drink cows milk, so I have been using milk alternatives such as almond and coconut milk for the past few years. Now there’s a new milk on the block: Silk Creamy Cashew and it’s the best one yet!

My blender is out on the counter daily, someone is usually whipping up a shake of some sort whether it’s my Shakeology or just a simple smoothie to use up fruit for my son. We are always mixing things up! As much as I love my almond and coconut milks, I will admit that they don’t always have the creamy factor that I miss from using diary.

I don’t have to miss out anymore, Silk Creamy Cashew is the creamiest dairy alternative I have had. It worked liked a dream in the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Protein Shake I made, just look at the photo: it looks like a milkshake. The fact that it’s so smooth and creamy makes the possibilities endless. Silk Creamy Cashew would go great in soups, mashed potatoes, and it would be ideal for making diary free ice cream.

At just 60 calories per cup, Silk Creamy Cashew is 30 calories less than skim milk yet offers just as much calcium. This way, you can rest assured that you’re still receiving the same nutritious benefits as dairy.

I’m so excited that Silk Creamy Cashew is now available in Canada. To find a retailer nearest you please visit Silk Canada’s website.

Since I make a lot of shakes, I wanted to create something that would satisfy my sweet tooth. I saw a recipe once for cookie butter that used cashews and it inspired me to make a cookie inspired shake.
