Apple Crumble

The other night, just before Desperate Housewives I had an urge to bake, but I didn’t want anything time consuming. So I grabbed some apples that I had sliced and froze, tossed them in a bowl and added some ingredients. It wasn’t bad for just throwing stuff together. Eric and I both agree that apple pie is better, but we love crust! I’m sorry, I forgot to take a picture, I always forget!

6 apples
5-6 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons butter

4 teaspoons butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup quick oats

Peel and slice apples into a bowl.Add sugar and cinnamon and mix. Transfer to a baking dish. Add two teaspoons of butter on top of the mixture. In a separate bowl, blend the remaining teaspoons of butter into brown sugar. Mix and add flour and rolled oats. Add the mixture over apples.
Bake at 350F for 15mins.
Uncover and bake for another 35-40 minutes.
