Do you wear eyeglasses? I do, and I need to get new ones. My last ones were just cheap-o’s from Wal-Mart and, what do you know, you get what you pay for. They lasted me two years, but I probably only wore them three times (I’m really bad and I never wear my glasses). The lenses popped out of the frame and I can’t get them back in, I think the frame is even a little twisted. Nether the less, I tossed them.
I am near-sited and I need prescription glasses to drive, read signs and even recognize people. It’s so bad. Eric get’s so nervous when driving with me. Don’t get me wrong I am a good, defensive driver but I can’t see anything. I don’t notice speed signs until its too late, and what’s worse is that I cannot see street signs until it’s way to late to turn (I’m not good in a new town or city and that is one of the reasons Eric always drives). So what’s holding me back from getting a new set of glasses? Pure laziness, ha-ha. Well and it’s always an expensive trip to the optometrist, sure we get $200 of it reimbursed, but we always end up spending a lot more. At the optometrist office, that doesn’t even cover the frames and I will never get ugly frames ever again.Lately I have been looking at a lot of glasses online. Have any of you ordered through online companies? How was your experience? I think it would be great because the frames always seem to be half the price of retail, and any money I can save makes me happy. I think I am going to start having to ask around about shopping for glasses online more, it’s the one thing I haven’t tried to shop for online…yet.
