Project Life Halloween Layouts

Project Life Halloween

It’s been a while since I shared a Project Life page layout. Mostly because I haven’t been to active in “PL-ing” until lately. I had some adorable photos from Halloween laying around so I put together a couple quick pages. Here are Project Life Halloween Layouts.

Right now I have a few albums on the go: Baby’s First Year (although I’m thinking I should do two albums now: one for our stay in the NICU/RMH and the other for 2012), 2013, our wedding and 2014. In reality, I have only started the Baby Album and 2013 BUT I do have my 2014 organized on my computer for ordering (that counts for something, right?).

I tend to go overboard with my camera, regardless of what it is I take 100 photos and then limit it down to a select few on the computer. Then after they’re ordered, I take an extra step and go through them one more time. For example: I had a cute photo of Carter crying because he didn’t want to dress up, but I decided to leave that out in the long run.

As you can tell, not all of the journal-ling cards are not completely filled out or they’re just blank. Sometimes I just have to let the photos do the story telling.

Another struggle of mine when it comes to Project Life ‘ ing is what to do with bad photos. Usually I toss them, but in the above case I needed the blurry photos to fill space. That and the fact that Carter was more interested in the kitty then getting candy is priceless. Same with how at the end of the night, my husband literally had to drag him to the door – just to endure screams so he took him for one more trip around the block. The photos are not the greatest, but they’re special memories that mean something to me.

  1. I love scrapbooking. When my kids were little, I use to get together with girlfriends for entire weekends to scrapbook. I need an entire year to catch up now. Have to say, this is a quick and easy solution. Thanks Randa!

    • I still love the look of traditional scrapbooking but I’m just lacking the time and patience these days. I finally sold it all.
