Only two more days until my American friends and readers will be sitting down to a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner. Here in Canada, we have Thanksgiving in October so our time is over (and we’re all patiently waiting for Christmas). There are so many amazing things about Thanksgiving, but one of things I look forward to the most is the food.
Thanksgiving dinner is a lot of work. The planning, prepping and cooking takes a lot out of a person. Mrs.Cubbison’s has a helpful site called Thanksgivingtips.com to make the day a little easier. You can use Thanksgiving Tips for all stages, from planning to leftovers. One of my favorite features is the Compete Diner Menus. Mrs. Cubbison’s has done all the work for you. Mrs.Cubbison’s also has a YouTube channel for those of you who need a visual aide. Here is a great video on How To Prepare a Turkey:
Before this review, I have to be honest, I have never heard of Mrs. Cubbison’s. So when I received the Multigrain Stuffing With Cranberries to try, I was so excited (I love stuffing).
It was easy enough to make and only took four minutes. I used water instead of chicken broth, and I think that is where I went wrong. I found this stuffing bland compared to the usual boxed stuffing I used. I think using chicken broth would have added a lot more flavor. What I preferred about Mrs. Cubbison’s over my usual brand was how filling it is and how much you receive in a bag. I only cooked up half the bag and we had leftovers, which is not common with stuffing. The cranberries gave it a nice twist as well.
So if it’s your first Thanksgiving or if you’re a pro, every once in a while everyone could use a little help. Be sure to check out Thanksgiving Tips and have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
