Natural cleaning is important to me. When I purchase cleaners, I am always concerned on what the ingredients are made up of. With all the diseases and “cancer causing” agents these days, you cannot go around a corner without facing risks. I’m a fan of natural cleaners.
That is why I prefer to to make my own cleaners over purchasing them. My all purpose cleaner that I use the most is my homemade version, and it works like a charm and disinfects as well! I’m still new to making my own cleaners and I have learned a lot from The Peaceful Housewife’s Natural Household Cleaner Recipes.
Did you know that you can make your own Spray Stain Treatment? Or Dishwasher Detergent (this one is huge for me, and works great). I was relieved to see that my all purpose cleaner recipe and wood polish recipe is the same as The Peaceful Housewife’s. It made me feel confident that I’m not the only one who uses it.
Something else that I really liked about this ebook is that it gets right down to business. When I purchase a “how to” book the last thing I want is pages upon pages on why they chose that method or a story behind it. The Household Cleaner Recipes gets straight to the first recipe and continues throughout the book.
I also like how there are different variations on some recipes. The makeup brush cleaner has seven different recipes to give you some variations (and in case you don’t have one of two of the ingredients on hand at the time, you can move on to the next). However, I don’t think that will be a problem because most ingredients are things you normally have in stock in your home.
