Southwestern Dip

Is there anything better than a good dip? How about a dip that takes one minute to throw together? This southwestern dip is a party favorite that’s simple, easy, and delicious.

The Super Bowl is this Sunday and I know a lot of you are still planning on what to make. The big game is all about the food (well, it is for me anyway) and this dip recipe is a must make! Why? There is nothing better than a good dip, especially when it’s super simple. Serve with chips, crackers, pitas, veggies (or whatever you have on hand).

As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, this recipe is super easy.

While I was recreating it while updating the photos, I preheated the oven (thinking it was a heated dip) and after I mixed together the ingredients and realized that I was done I was baffled. It’s so darn easy! (Yes, I am that person who never reads the full recipe ahead of time, even recipes from my own blog – haha.)

I haven’t made this since 2012, so 6 years later – my brain doesn’t remember everything. That being said, this would be deliciously heated as well. I may use this base and put together a hot taco dip soon.
