Philips Avent Natural Bottle #LoveIsInTheDetails

Philips Avent Natural Bottle. The breast like shape makes it easier to latch on and it has an anti-colic system.

Another day another bottle. I swear, the battle to find the right bottle is one of the many expensive pains that are different for each baby. With my daughter, we must have tried 5 different bottles before sticking to one and even then we switched again as she got older and we got wiser ;). This time with our baby boy the challenge started all over again. He was not satisfied with the hand me down bottles that his sister preferred. So let me tell you about my experience with the Philips Avent Natural Bottle.

First of al,l it is Natural because it has a wide, soft, flexible nipple. If you are switching from breast feeding or breast/bottle feeding this should make the transition easier for your baby. My little guy would sometimes drink great from this bottle but other times he had troubles getting a good latch. That being said we had issues with breastfeeding as well.

Secondly, and very importantly, this bottle is a breeze to clean. It has few parts ; Lid, Nipple, Ring, and Bottle. It cannot get more simple than that. I can easily use a cloth or bottle brush on this bottle and not worry about missing any spots. I also don’t have to worry about losing small pieces or storing a million bottle parts.

Finally, the built-in twin valve anti-colic system that filters air out of the bottle rather than in the babies tummy. When my little guy was eating well from this bottle we had no problems with excess gas which is fantastic. A gassy baby is an upset baby and an upset baby is a tired upset parent.

I really like the shape of this bottle. The Avent Natural bottle has contoured sides that make it easy to hold and comfortable in my hand #loveisinthedetails. It is tall and thin and fits into the pockets of my diaper bag well. The lid is snug on the bottle and prevents it from leaking when I am shaking up the formula.

Finding the right bottle for each individual baby is difficult. Everyones bodies are unique and finding one that most mimics mom is usually the best choice. Even though my baby doesn’t always drink well from this bottle I have kept it around and when I have thrown numerous others aside. He is becoming a better eater and is getting the hang of his latch therefor I remain hopeful that he will eat well from this bottle every time because I really like it. The Philips Avent Natural is well worth the try in the never ending battle of the bottle.

  3. I would share it with a friend.

  4. I would keep it to use for my next child. If he/she doesn’t like it, I will give it to my friends to try with their babies. Picking a bottle the baby will take is definitely an expensive venture when you’ve got a picky baby!
